Course Description
Artificial Intelligence is at the forefront of almost everyone’s mind. But what exactly is it? Is it the sort of thing that only the super intelligent computer geeks, or is it, in fact, something that can be understandable to even the typical person? Is it only about computer science, internet searches, and social media analytics, or does it affect all sectors of contemporary life, even general contracting?
Technology has changed the practice of general contracting over the last few decades in many ways, from how buildings are designed to how they are built, including robots that do the work that humans could only do not so long ago. Now, Artificial Intelligence has taken technology to the next level.
In addition to preconstruction phases such as design and estimating, AI can also be used during construction, including scheduling, cost control, resource management, safety control, and postconstruction analysis.
In this course, we demystify AI, making it accessible to all, regardless of technical background. Delve into its applications in general contracting, where AI-driven technologies enhance efficiency and precision in areas like design, estimation, and even on-site construction activities.
