Frequently Asked Questions

Do you report my results to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry?

Yes we report all continuing education results electronically to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. That way you can easily renew your license.

Why are there two continuing education courses for Minnesota?

The state of Minnesota limits the length of continuing ed courses to 7 hours each. So to fulfill your 14 hour CE requirement you just need to take both of our 7 hour online courses.

Do you offer any continuing education training that is not online?

We offer online continuing education to renew your Minnesota license. We do not offer any classroom continuing education courses for MN contractors. We find that most students prefer to complete their continuing education online on their computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Do you provide me with a certificate of completion when I finish your continuing education course?

Yes, all graduates of our Minnesota contractor continuing education course will receive a certificate of completion. We can either email, mail, or fax the certificate to you.

Do I need to provide my certificate to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to prove that I completed my continuing education when I renew my license?

The state of MN may ask you to provide them with a copy of your continuing education certificate so be sure to keep a copy for your records. You can find out more at their website by clicking here.

Can I take this course on my phone?

Yes, our courses are mobile compatible. You can finish your continuing education with ease using your phone, tablet, or computer.

Do you renew my Minnesota license for me?

No. Completing your continuing education credits does not complete the renewal of your license. Once you have completed all of your required continuing education, you must pay the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry the license renewal fees, as we cannot do that for you.

What if I still have questions about completing my MN continuing education?

No problem. Just call our continuing education specialists at (888)564-9098 or email us at support@pdhacademy.com and they can walk you through what you need to do to complete your Minnesota contractor continuing education requirements.

It doesn’t matter whether you want to complete our online contractor continuing education courses in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Duluth, Rochester, St. Cloud or Mankato – our online contractor continuing education courses can be completed from anywhere.
