Course Description
This course will discuss aspects of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) pertinent to owning or managing a general contractor business. Basic OSHA principles such as the definition of OSHA, OSHA mission, employer responsibilities, employee rights, standards, inspections, record keeping, fall protection, struck-by objects, prevention of injuries, and construction zone safety practices will be covered as the aspects related to general contractors.
